This is a large water that covers round about 5 1/2 acres and has some very impressive depths. There are some good features around this lake, and there are pegs generally available all year round with over 50 to choose from. The fish that tend to be targeted are the bream and the carp, which can be caught at some very respectable weights. The water is quite large and the tactic to use is to first find a couple of features in the swim, and then fish to them, whether it be reeds or a ledge. There is no point spraying the bait around as it won’t work. As well as carp and bream there is also plenty of roach, tench and perch. These don’t run to any great size but there are plenty of them to ensure good sport. Summer pleasure bags can run from 15 to 50 lb depending on how many carp are taken.
